Cufflinks maintenance and cleaning

To keep the cufflinks clean it's also important to store them carefully. Store the cufflinks preferably in a box to keep dust out and protect the cufflinks from sunlight. If you don't have a box, try to store the cufflinks with care and don't just throw them in a drawer.

As a last tip to keep your cufflinks clean, we use the rule of thumb that you shouldn't wear them in situations where you wouldn't take your smartphone with you. Think for example of humid places or other rough occasions.

If, despite these precautions, you do discover tarnish or dust, remove it carefully with a cleaning cloth or soft toothbrush. In addition, mild soap and warm water can be used to clean the surfaces. Of course, it is very important to use a soft soap, when using bleach for example, the cufflinks will be affected. After cleaning it is important to dry the cufflinks with a soft cloth.
